About Anika’s Kitchen
Authentic Indian Kitchen
Anika’s Kitchen is an indian restaurant in Aurora, Illinois. It is listed at 481 N Commons Dr A, Aurora, IL 60504, which places it among the local businesses of Aurora that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Aurora, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. On most of those days it is open 5–9:30 PM. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Anika’s Kitchen at (630) 701-2056; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is theanikaskitchen.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 148 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded indian restaurants in Aurora.
Aurora is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Aurora follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It's been awhile since I've had Indian food, so I had forgotten just how good it is. Everything was so incredibly delicious. I will definitely be back. We bought several dishes - all of them were full of flavor with a bit of spice. Nice atmosphere and great service.

Great food with authentic taste, great owners. Really enjoyed the food. Very low key atmosphere. Casual dine- in or carry out. We had punnugulu with no desi ghee. Idli sambar and masala dosa.

Just stumbled upon this small and cute store when I was in the area today. So I thought I’ll give it a try and man oh man was the food so tasty. I ordered a Corn Samosa and a Chole Poori. What a beauty! Delicious and then some more. The crispness of the samosa and the poori was amazing. The chole was so tasty I thought I was back in India. Definitely worth coming here. I will probably make this my go-to spot every weekend. Amazing hospitality, taste and service.

I was in town for work and staying at a nearby hotel when I found Anika's Kitchen, and I'm glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the owner and family made me feel welcome. Their friendliness and hospitality really stood out and made the experience even better. I ordered the Mirchi Bajji, Garlic Fried Rice, and Mutton Ghee Roast, and every dish was excellent. The Mirchi Bajji was crispy, flavorful, and had a great spicy kick. The Mutton Ghee Roast was tender, rich, and packed with authentic flavor. The Garlic Fried Rice was the perfect complement to the meal. As someone visiting from out of town, it's always a treat to find a restaurant that serves amazing food and treats you like family. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and the service was outstanding. If I'm back in the area, Anika's Kitchen will definitely be one of my first stops. Highly recommended!

We tried this place on a whim looking for a close-by indian resturant to call our go-to. Staff was excellent and extremely friendly to us! We ordered the butter chicken, naan, vada with chutney, all of which exceeded our expectations in flavor and spice! The food came out quickly and the server we had even explained to us some of the culture behind the vada we ordered, which i thought was really cool to hear! We finished our meal with a delicious mango lassi and were on our way. We loved this place so much that we have already recommended some friend gathering at this location in the future. I love the cozy, homey atmosphere and the food is definitely something to come back for. I dont leave reviews often, so I think this place is something special. Eager to try more dishes from them in the future!
